Gloves are good for protecting hands and hands
Gloves are not bad, but they are not the best. Considering the price, they are sufficient, but heat up quite quickly. I've done 2" butt welds on attachments with a MIG gun and they heat up pretty quickly. It is enough that you stop working and let them cool down a bit.
