I have a studio arts degree and have used all types of canvases from prefabricated canvases like this one to handmade canvases and hand stretched canvases. I like to have ready made canvases on hand to experiment, warm up and work through concepts before moving on to a higher quality canvas project. They're great for the price. The finish is even, the frames are not warped or frayed at all as they are individually wrapped. As long as you understand and expect these are student/beginner quality canvases you will not be disappointed with them.
