So I won't lie I bought this water bottle just to look cool. There's no practical reason to have a titanium water bottle when non-toxic plastic water bottles are readily available and insanely lightweight (not to mention cheap). However, is there anything more amazing than titanium? I could not resist. And I know my friends will be jealous when they see it. Call it sad, it's okay, I even agree with you. But there is little joy in being a middle-aged man. let me take this one. Anyhow, the bottle itself is fantastic. I have a fitted cut with a slimmer bodice and I love everything about the way it looks. The screw cap fits perfectly, made with high precision. I don't know what else you could say. It's a titanium water bottle and it's pretty damn cool. It is very light and has a large capacity, which is very useful for me when hiking. I will wrap it up and take it out empty and it will be just as great as my current plastic water bottle that will never be used again because I spent a lot of money on a titanium bottle instead for no good reason. I appreciate that it comes with a thermal sleeve to keep liquids cool or warm, but I'll never use it. I bought a titanium water bottle to have a titanium water bottle instead of hiding it up my sleeve. Also, the sleeve adds weight. Why buy an ultra-lightweight water container and then add weight to it? So it's a nice touch, but it'll just end up in the closet. So if I love this ridiculous thing so much why are you asking 4 stars? It's because of the texture on the main bottle. While the bottle neck is smooth, the rest of the bottle has a very light texture, like a very fine powder finish. It really looks amazing, like the epitome of gray titanium, until you touch it. The texture accentuates fingerprints, water stains, etc. I can only imagine how messy this thing will look after applying sunscreen and then drinking on it. I'm sure the company chose this texture for functionality and I have little doubt that the texture will help with traction. But it's kind of a shame to spend so much on a Titan water bottle and know it's going to look dirty most of the time. While I recognize that the company puts my best interests first and foremost, I wish they didn't. As said, there is no practical reason for this object, so you can make it as pretty as possible and give it a smooth surface that stays clean.
