Webcams from better known manufacturers are currently only available from vendors who are price gouging this COVID-19 season, so I decided to take a chance. on this AUSDOM AF640. I'm definitely satisfied. It offers excellent video quality and refresh rate. The built-in microphone is acceptable, although better sound quality is achieved with a dedicated microphone such as the Blue Yeti Nano. AUSDOM is hot-swappable, so I can move it from one Mac to another Mac and it will be recognized immediately without having to restart the Mac to be recognized (my old webcam wasn't Hot that way -swappable). Bought this webcam based on strong recommendations from European reviewers. I am NOT disappointed with this purchase.
