Eco-Friendly Half Sandwich Bags

Overview: GreenPolly Resealable Zipper Bags, Snack, Pack of 200 . They don't have a zipper, you just close them with clenched fingers like we all know how to do these days. They are NOT big, maybe the size of half a sandwich or a couple of small biscuits. These are diet packs, you won't get much in them; I think they could easily be twice the size and maybe should have been. About half the size of a standard sandwich bag. Great that the raw material for polyethylene is sugar cane. However, most of the energy in it comes from fossil fuels, like everything else you buy. However, this is a good trick. There will never be a truly renewable plastic bag. When it comes to disposable items and consumer society, there are only "less bad” alternatives. But they are still cute little bags and should be sealed tightly. Since they don't fit on a sandwich, I'll probably use them mostly for non-food items or a bit of candy, maybe handing out our big Halloween gummy bears to people with young and flexible pancreas. So... if you're looking for tiny double-sealed sachets and are excited by the idea that embodied carbon - if not energy - comes from sugar cane, you might want to try it. I rate them 4 stars.
