Great idea to help kids practice casting, hooking and reeling on land without fear of snags. Our four children (11-5 years old) loved the set. Worth the extra money to buy a learning kit so kids can fish together. We have a wide open front yard which allows them to distribute fish and practice casting without fear of hitting each other. It can be difficult for the smallest fish to hook - their bait sits on top of the fish but slips over the cup on their head preventing them from pulling the fish. I will practice. Good quality product for many years if the kids don't leave the fish out overnight.
