Fun for all ages! on Leisure Sports & Game Room

Great game for all ages. Great shelter during COVID if you have a large driveway or very low backyard grass. The orange hooks/lures are quite heavy for a kid's rod. I turned them into clothespins. But overall it's a fun game. Kind of expensive.

My grandson loves to fish.

My 9 year old grandson loves to fish. He used this set at an open house at a local fishery and loved it. He was very happy about the gift from Nana. He plays with it several times a week. I hope his casting skills improve! I have to admit, the price shocked me a bit. Too bad he came with a fishing rod.

  • cool product

Did not receive what is shown in the photo in the ad!

I bought this for my three and a half year old twin grandsons. As there are 2 I liked that it had 4 fish, namely 2 for each of our grandchildren. However, as you can see there were only 3 fish in the package. Not very perfect and for the money I'm definitely disappointed because they weren't cheap. Re-reading the list I see that it only lists three so my mistake and I'll leave it but I hate ads!

let's go fishing in Sports

Exactly as described. This is a great tool to teach anyone the technique of hooking and landing fish with a fly rod. By the way, fish swim, so if you put them in the water, they dive. It's like catching real fish. Younger scouts are more likely to fish for bass in the backyard than actual fish. When you play bass with The Back Yard you get a lot more action and everyone starts. The hardest thing is to take it away from adults for children to play. rzunimag.

Amazing gardening fun and exercise for young anglers

This was a fun way to get my son interested in fishing without even knowing it. He usually just makes a few tosses in the yard and loses interest. With them, the game has evolved into a challenging game that sets the goal of focusing on good throws rather than blindly tossing a worm across the yard. They have proven to be a great gift and will pay off this fishing season with less frustration, less chills, more accurate casts and hopefully more fish.

The game is very easy to use for all kids and they really do.

We have a non-profit organization called Fishing with Angels and we take children with any health condition on an all inclusive fishing day. We purchased Back Yard Bass to use at several events we are invited to by other special needs nonprofit groups each year. The game is very easy to use for all children and they enjoy playing it very much. Whether the child has fishing experience or is casting a line for the first time and hauling in a big line, they enjoy this game and it always brings a…

Great fun for kids and adults!

This is a fantastic item I bought for my 5 year old twin granddaughters. They recently attended a birthday party where the parents used Backyard Bass Educator as a party game. The twins had so much fun with this that they stayed at the backyard party and played for hours, over and over again! I ordered a larger set for them as there are more fish to practice with. I have no doubt that in a few weeks they will be experienced casters and ready for some real fishing! Even if you never get close to

I wish Backyard Bass was there when I was young!

Great idea to help kids practice casting, hooking and reeling on land without fear of snags. Our four children (11-5 years old) loved the set. Worth the extra money to buy a learning kit so kids can fish together. We have a wide open front yard which allows them to distribute fish and practice casting without fear of hitting each other. It can be difficult for the smallest fish to hook - their bait sits on top of the fish but slips over the cup on their head preventing them from pulling the…

The game will never stop making fun for kids!

I tried this game at a party and it was a big hit. My kids and I were gifted some rods and to practice casting I decided to give it a try. The kids love it! I have a 5 year old boy and 7 year old girl who played with him a bit on a hike and they held up well and the kids loved it. We haven't gone fishing yet but I'm sure it has helped them improve their casting and reeling skills without getting hooked. My 3 year old was also able to use a weighted fishing rod but didn't figure out how to try…
