Bought these a few months ago and they were a very good buy. I use these items every time I use one of my ties. Up until then, my strings had always loosened while traveling. By the time I got where I wanted to ride, the bindings had loosened, allowing my quads to move on the trailer. I was sick of this happening over and over again so I dug the internet and found this product. It seemed like this might help solve my problem. Since using them with my strings, they've never come open again. These things act as shock absorbers and allow the tie to flex a bit. They also seem to be holding the tie very well. The best part is that when you're done with the tie, you can just wrap it around those things and they'll keep them organized for next time. I've used them quite a bit over the last few months and they haven't worn out or lost their spring. This is a very well thought out quality product that is worth buying.
