It seems like a good mix of quality, value, and portability (although I've only had it a week so can't vouch for durability). I'm currently using it with a slightly older MacBook Pro that doesn't have USB-C. So I use the "dual cable" approach: a USB-A to USB-C cable to power the monitor and an HDMI cable to take the video signal there. For the most part, I like the matte screen as it's less glare than glossy ones. However, the sharpness of the screen is a bit softer compared to some screens, so don't expect MacBook Pro-level sharpness. That's partly because it's not a Retina display, and I think the matte finish probably reduces sharpness a bit too. As said, the matte surface is less glare in general. Because of the way highlights are handled by "spreading" them over a large and soft area, sometimes a large area of highlights (albeit softer) may not be as desirable. The stand in landscape mode is good. I wish it had some sort of built in portrait kickstand.
