Review on 2.8 Quart Porcelain Serving Bowls - SWEEJAR Set Of 2 For Family Parties, Salad Soup Pasta Fruit Mixing Kitchen Bowls (Painting) by Karen Gonzalez

I've been looking for large soup bowls. These are definitely large but I think I would call them serving bowls rather than soup bowls. The description details are all completely accurate but perhaps the Heading should be "Porcelain Serving Bowls for Salad, Soup, Pasta, Fruit"?As a serving bowl: I would have preferred white to the turquoise. Description says these are Dishwasher, Freezer, Microwave and Oven Safe but there is no stamp on the bottom of the bowl. I tested the microwave and am pleased to report these ARE microwave friendly! One cup of water came to a boil in 2 minutes. The upper part of the bowl remained cool! (that's a plus. So often products claim to be micro friendly but the dish tends to heat faster than the food that is in it!) I did not test oven or freezer use.As a serving bowl I would definitely buy these again. I just recommend that a buyer pay more attention than I did. They are 90 oz, 2.8 quarts or 11 cups (just like the description says) which is bigger then a single serve soup bowl! :-)
