I have a difficult child who tries all sorts of ways to get hold of objects that have been taken from them or are not meant for them. I put combination locks on the doors of two rooms and then noticed that he still found a way to get in. He chopped wood (see photo 1-3 before and after). I was desperate and certain I would need to replace the metal door but on the advice of another parent of a child with similar issues I looked around first and found this solution. I ordered two, they arrived quickly and were pretty easy to install. There needs to be a small gap/gap between the door and the frame (hard to explain) for them to fit snugly. He passed a door with no problem. On the second I couldn't use both pieces, but left one piece in place so it wouldn't pick at the wood (see 4th photo).
