The table looks solid. The arms/joints are also strong. I use a chair that is straight on one side and more rounded on the other. I wish the arms were a little longer but it works well. Just a little weak as I have trouble with straight/rounded corners. When the chair doesn't recline, the table sits nicely level. The recliner has the table tilted (I knew this would be the case when I bought it, but wish the review had shown how it was). I can correct the tilt by partially placing a book underneath.
