Installation trick on Win10 fails due to missing drivers
Step 1: The installation trick is to go to the official website in very small print: scare arcanite.jp Step 2: The Windows 10 driver is in the SmartID Embedded software, download and install.smartidencryption.zip Step 3: Follow the SmartID software instructions, create an encrypted password and save the file. > Sign-in Options > Windows Hello Fingerprint and Fingerprint Setup. This works but requires a bit of PC and Win10 knowledge if Win10 doesn't find the driver. Good luck, it took me over an hour to find and set it up.
