Connectors are NOT locked into key fob housing. The Volvo dealer technician was unsure if the blank could be cut for use as an emergency spare and was still waiting for the cut blank for the key to arrive from Volvo in SWEDEN to attempt to cut the blanks . Much cheaper than branded blanks but can be a waste of time if not cut properly. When comparing the original Volvo flat keys when they arrived, the dimensions of the blank were clearly wrong. The shoulder of the qualitykeylessplus was too long and the overall length of the blade was too long. The Volvo technician said he could cut the blanks, but because the blanks don't match, the keys don't fit in the lock. Volvo charges $20 for the reduction attempt. A complete waste of money.
