Let me be clear that for the most part this is a really good vacuum cleaner. The self-cleaning roller is great, the suction power is adequate, and the dust box is spacious enough for use around the pet house. You know very well that their advertisement of the capabilities of this vacuum cleaner is untrue. I upgraded and downgraded this vacuum to knockout status for several months. It was thrown, thrown (I mean spanked, I mean; this vacuum is extremely annoying to use and therefore - for me - difficult to maintain) on hardwood/tile floors, concrete, asphalt and my gravel driveway. . That's because it falls off when I pull on the hose. When I'm outside, I just drag it across the floor by pulling on the hose. That's the only reason I keep buying Shark products - they don't fail. Why didn't I just send this model back? Got a huge discount on it and thought it was worth what I paid for it, although it ended up not living up to expectations.
