This is a great addition to my desktop system. I added it to use my new external hard drive and I think I made the right choice this time. The USB 3.0 speed of this card is remarkable. This is the second USB 3.0 card I'm using. I'm sorry to say that the first one didn't work for me. I had to buy it for the FIRST TIME! Installation was very easy. It works great on its own as it gets enough power out of the slot just by plugging it in. The total installation and commissioning time for the new hard drive was less than 20 minutes. Pretty hard to beat! As is the company that sells this board and their customer support is second to none! I have used them once in the past and they are flawless! I wish I could say the same about the other companies I've dealt with over the years and I'm sure you will too. Buy safely friends! An easy to install board that is also very easy to set up.
