very nice, but a little big for noodles for me

Bought these for eating asian ramen noodles out of. They're very large and do a good job, but my wife tends to put more food in the bigger the bowl/plate. Currently, she's putting in so much noodles/food I can't eat all of it. I'm 60, so my caloric demands have decreased since I lived in the woods hunting/fishing as a young man. These would be great at half size. That said, if your man is a highly active large male, these are perfect to serve him a meal in.
