I think I went for that price. I wanted to use them for groceries instead of reusable or plastic bags at the grocery store and farmer's market. Thing is, I really packed it up and it doesn't handle the weight like I was hoping it would. But I loaded and unloaded them from the car by putting them on a cart I have at my rental house. My husband insists on taking it with us. And you can see that the plastic is sagging in some places. If you use it for super heavy stuff and pack it there, not recommended. Probably not for many papers or books. I use them for many different things though. Sometimes even a folding laundry basket. I love how versatile and easy to clean they are.
