They were very expensive and I rarely use them. But the spring that springs back the blade after cutting has fallen off. Now when you cut, the blades stay closed and I have to open them manually every time I cut something. Ridiculous. At this price they should last forever with no problems.

I have used these professionally for years and buy a holstered pair for every employee who spends a year in landscaping. Until then, they use fakes. Remember to soak a separately sold holster in a good quality 3-in-1 oil and put the secateurs in it for at least a week and the holster will fit the secateurs and the holster will last much longer too.

Like all other Felco products they have not disappointed me. I grew up in a family garden/nursery so I have high expectations for outdoor products. They handle the thick branches of the fruit trees in my backyard with ease and can easily cut off a thick thumb, which I don't plan on doing anytime soon.
