This is the most favorite lantern I ever had.Actually, it is three in one lantern. It is built from there are three parts:- the main module - and two side modules that can be used as a smaller lanternsThe main module can be charged (or can use batteries).Sied modules use the same source of power if they are assembled with the main module.When they work independently, you have to insert batteries t then (3 x AAA for each).The assembled lantern gives very powerful (bright) light. But even each part separately is surprisingly bright. The main (assembled) module works in four modes:- full bright (the main module and side modules are active)- mid bright (side modules are inactive)- red solid light (side modules are inactive)- red flashing light (side modules are inactive)Side modules (powered on batteries) work in three modes:- sidelight wite color- sidelight worm color- front LEDYou can easily attach side modules to metal (they have magnets) or use the hook.The main module is also hangable.Tonight I tested it on the beach (after 9 pm - it was already dark) - the result was very cool.
