This turned out to be a real find for me. I have tried stand up doorstops in the past but I had a hard time releasing the stopper as my foot would not fit between my foot and the door resulting in having to bend down and lift the stopper. No bending down to do this... push the plunger to lock it, push the lever again to release and it pops out. You just have to be careful to place it correctly on the door, make sure it doesn't hit the jamb when the door is closed, and attach it at the right height so that the rubber tip hits the ground with enough pressure. Overall, it looks very high quality, has a nice finish and is very appealing.
