Works great just what I needed

I used this bad boy to easily switch between two laptops. I have 2 monitors and a USB hub and a Logitech Unifying receiver. The merging dongle receiver works in K/M ports and the USB hub works in USB 2.0 slot. Now I can easily press a button on the hub I placed under my desk and all my accessories and monitors are switched between my work laptop and my personal laptop. Make sure your monitor's refresh rate matches this device's specifications, otherwise you may see strange screen tearing or pixelation. Have been using this product for a week or two now and it works great. Also, I don't have to connect it to a power source, which is nice. UPDATE - I've been using it for a few months now and it's still working great. Bought on 07/07/2020, today 01/26/2021. Now I use hotkeys to switch between devices and it's great. The button still works, but the hotkeys are much more convenient. My old keyboard was a Logitech K270 and the Unifying receiver was plugged into the K/M slot. The hotkey switcher worked great with this keyboard. My new keyboard is a Corsair K60 (fancy LEDs) and plugging it into the same slot causes all sorts of problems. I can't use the Corsair ICUE software when a keyboard is plugged into this slot and the hotkey toggle doesn't work. So I'm forced to plug the keyboard into regular USB jacks to use the Corsair ICUE software. There doesn't seem to be any solution to this problem :( Now I might consider buying another KVM switch.
