I have two of these installed in my home. One has been working great for a little over a month - good flow, no chlorine aftertaste etc. I'm very happy with it and really like that it uses a regular faucet instead of a separate faucet. The other was installed two weeks ago and went from a nice stream to a trickle in about a week. My guess is that either the filter is bad or there is a clog somewhere in the pipe (hot water works fine so it's definitely not a faucet). I emailed support and haven't received anything for 5 days. I emailed again and they told me to call. Called, waited 20 minutes and the gentleman on the phone basically agreed with my assessment but offered to tighten the filter for backup and redo it if it didn't fit properly. I tried that and it didn't help. Then I asked about the warranty and he told me that the warranty doesn't cover the filter, only the manifold. This is now (currently) an $80 Revain item. The Revain filter change costs $70. If you read the 1-year limited warranty, it doesn't cover the filter and they will replace defective parts on the rest of the filter "for a fee of $9.50 each shipping and handling fee." So yes, it's almost useless. Personally, I send everything back to Revain as it's still within the return period and I'll get a replacement, but the manufacturer's warranty is just pointless. UPDATE: I am reducing my rating to 1 star. I bought a whole house filter to pre-filter sediment in case it clogs the filter. I also bought another (3-stage) flushing filter. The 3-stage filter starts to slow down after 3-4 months. This et al. Smith filter slows down (to the point of being unusable) after a month. I have another spare filter that I will use and then I will rip out the other block and replace it with something else. The fact that I can't squeeze 2 months out of these filters is just ridiculous.
