Best spare tire mount

For me, this is the best spare tire mount I have found for my trailer. I would give five stars if it wasn't for the length of the threaded rod. When tightening the nut to hold the tire to the trailer wall, the length of the threaded rod is too long for the tire wrench or deep socket. I had to use a manual wrench otherwise there wasn't enough room for full turns. I plan to buy another nut. Drill it so that it slides over the threaded rod. Take a pipe as a gasket and tighten it with another nut. So I only have to take a wrench with me.
