I had high hopes for this straightener. I have 3a curls and to be honest my Walmart Remington flat iron works wonders in comparison. It takes forever to smooth a section and it's not shiny, it actually looks very puffy and dry after application. I have to wash my hair and use a different Remington to get rid of the almost brittle feeling I get after using this one. It's really weird, I've used everything from t3 to ghd irons to walmart brands with no problem. and these are the worst. Very disappointing
