I'm just tired of my cables breaking at the weakest point where the cable ends and the connector begins. With standard cables, there's always a point for a while where the guts show, you get some duct tape, everything gets sticky, you have to move that damn cable, and one day you wake up with a dead phone. It seems like those days are gone as these wires have rubber around the same weak point to prevent it from bending at extreme angles which extends the life of the wires. I wasn't disappointed with how quickly my phone charged either. Also, I believe that every cable should have a nylon jacket. This will likely prevent the wires from snapping and stripping in the winter since you don't have to untangle the damn thing. All in all a great product!
