More than expected.
Product says 1/4" but must be at least 3/8". This isn't a deal breaker though, it's bigger/heavier than expected. I don't have it, it won't hold up if I accidentally fall. The cable has a fairly thick coating that protects against arc discharge during welding. Not a bad option for the money.
