These free flow oil filters with silicone drain valves work great on my 1995 Toyota. 230,000km. With this and the synthetic mixed oil with a high mileage of 10-30, I immediately noticed that the engine ran more smoothly with no drop in oil pressure. I was expecting at least a small drop in oil pressure since less restrictive filter media requires more oil flow. But the oil pressure gauge does not drop. Apparently more oil is hitting the ceiling as it runs smoother. These 22RE engines tend to be a bit noisy in the cam and valve trains. These filters seem to do it better.
