This is great, but the design is such that they don't go out when it's light and the motion sensor turns the lights on when it's dark. I wanted them to be triggered whenever motion is detected in the light or in the dark. Changing them is that easy. Charge them fully and remove the black sticker. (This sticker blocks the light sensor so you can test it when you receive it, but we put this black sticker directly on the light sensor on the circuit board. 2. Unscrew the two screws on the charger side. 3. Use a Tool to pry back the translucent plastic Pry it in the middle and it should come off easily 4. Bend this plastic about in half 5. Locate the photo sensor (light sensor) between the two LEDs next to the motion sensor 6. Cut a small one Take a piece of the original black sticker and stick it onto the photo sensor. Now just snap it together and you're done! It can be a little tricky to line up the plastic cover with the grooves, but use your fingers in a rocking motion and it should slide in without much difficulty.
