Everything about this product is great except its blending performance! The looks, the quality of the engine and even the noise level are fantastic. Unfortunately, the key metric is incredibly weak. The gap between the nozzle and cup is too big. I received my new 6.5Qt aluminum series earlier in the week and had to wait until the weekend to try them out. My first attempt was a simple chocolate chip cookie. My recipe calls for beating two sticks of butter with sugar and when I tried to do this with the whisk attachment it just pushed the butter and sugar down and out of the way where the attachment couldn't reach and then swam, nothing without doing. Every second or third spin I had to clear the sides and bottom. I understand why a gap is needed (to avoid scratching the bowl) but it is VERY large and defeats the entire purpose of the blender. I have others (brand names) and while scraping has always been required, this has never been the case. Too bad because I love everything else about this product.
