🔦 Superior Quality Aurabeam Economy Replacement Lamp with Housing for Sony XL-5200 Review

What I liked most about this lamp is the great color it gives off. Like most people who still have Sony Brabvira big screen projection TVs, we've had them for over a decade because they still give a great picture - if you use a quality lamp. We love transparent, bright colors; this also ensures in the energy-saving mode. We had a problem with one and I emailed the manufacturer and they sent us a new one because it failed within the warranty period. I will buy from this manufacturer from now on.

Very disappointed with the purchase of Star Lamp XL-5200. I've had it for less than a month and the light on my TV is already going on and off. Complete rubbish. save your money They are made in Mexico and are even worse than the Chinese ones. The reflective coating started peeling off after 1 week. It's really frustrating (for all Sony PJ TV owners it seems) to find a good quality replacement bulb for the Revain. It seems to be hit and miss no matter the price. This lamp is clearly marked "Made in China" and has much cheaper (and loose) electrical connection hardware. The cables are definitely thinner and less durable than any other spares I've had. When I first received these I was upset but that was because I made an incorrect assumption that it wasn't necessarily supported by the product description. I think I've jumped to conclusions just because I know the official Sony xl-5200 uses a Phillips branded bulb and there are several different listings of the same bulb on Amazon - some show the Phillips brand in the picture, some don't. Plug and Play in my KDS-60A2000. However, it takes about twice as long to warm up to full brightness (3+ minutes) and after about 10 minutes the flickering gets brighter/darker.
