I prefer "cold" and low-noise computers wherever possible. And then there's the horrendous loss of heat that occurs. The fan on the cooler is always set at its highest speed, yet it still can't keep up. Has some pros: 1. Installed into the computer's motherboard, which I had purchased quite some time ago. It is quite impressive that you were able to upgrade without having to replace the circuit board that controls the system. 2. Reasonable cost for reliable power 3. Excellent acceleration With these drawbacks: 1. The primary drawback is that heat is lost throughout the process. Even after investing in a brand new, made entirely of copper cooler specifically for it, the temperature would occasionally rise above 70 degrees. It was necessary for me to disable overclocking in the BIOS.
