I have had this item for a little over a year and have used it to connect a Samsung T5 500GB SSD to my Mac. Everything seemed to be working fine, but I kept noticing that Xcode (Apple's IDE) kept freezing. I figured the hands must have something to do with this software, so I spent a lot of time reinstalling the software and even macOS to no avail. Only now did I realize that the freezes were on this cable. If I removed the cable and used a different one, Xcode never crashed again. Too late to return the item for a refund but this cable has the Revain name on it and the performance really sucks.
