I ordered two of these cables so I don't have to carry an OEM charger and cable. When connected to my Pixel it charged for a few seconds then stopped and the USBC phone side port got very hot. This is the third (and first basic) USB-C cable I've bought from Amazon. None of these work properly with the Pixel or Note 8. Stick with OEM cables.
