Review on 📡 Enhance Signal Reception with TRAM 1465 Land Mobile Base Ground Plane Kit by Robert Hole

I wasn't sure if the length and angle of the radials would work but after everything was assembled and installed on a 15ft telescoping mast with my mobile antenna , was satisfied with the result. I have used it with both Icom IC-T70A and IC-7000 and have been satisfied. It has also withstood gale force winds of 80 km/h, which surprised me. But I don't recommend it. As mentioned, tiny set screws can be an issue and we drilled an extra hole in the bracket to attach it to the mast. My only concern is losing the adjusting screws. In an emergency and for a backpacking bag, they get lost too easily. I'm still not sure if this is the right way.
