Well, if you're one of the many people who didn't get a headphone adapter with your new phone, get this one. It's very well made, as you'd expect from Anker, and improves the sound a bit, but simply plugging in regular, random headphones or headphones shows no difference in sound quality. Buying quality headphones is highly recommended if you want to maximize sound quality, but if all you need is a headphone adapter, it works great. Just be aware that it can be more than just an adapter. If your phone came with a dongle I would probably look elsewhere for a much higher quality adapter with a much higher resolution DAC and possibly a powerful amplifier. I'm giving this 5 stars because I was one of the people who didn't have a headphone adapter with my phone.
