Please note! The padding at the bottom of the laptop compartment is not enough, to say the least. I suggest Solo New York look into this bug. I recommend a thin, springy hard floor gel. Similar to the gel pad on wrist rest mouse pads. I bought this laptop backpack for my 17.3 inch MSI Raider 10SFS-226 which is a high end high performance full size gaming laptop. My first reaction to solving the problem was to buy a Pelican. A 1495 laptop sleeve that cost me at least $200. After lugging around a Pelican 1495 laptop sleeve for a month with my laptop and bag weighing 25-40 pounds or more, I decided to stick on a towel folded multiple times. Time to fit snugly at the bottom without adding too much bulk for the laptop to not fit.
