Since the coronavirus situation in New York was rapidly deteriorating and my company switched to working from home almost overnight, I had to set up a home office pretty quickly. Many good monitors were either out of stock or had extended delivery times. So after a lot of research I decided on this AOC monitor - there were no user reviews and sparse information online back then, but I didn't have time to get something quick. The specs and price looked great, and AOC has a good reputation in general, at least for gaming. So I took a chance ordering this and boy am I glad I did. The monitor is great for the price. Very well packaged, very good design and overall aesthetics and excellent image quality. I use it for office work - a bit off-label as I think it's primarily marketed as a gaming monitor so can't comment on gaming performance. It has plenty of screen real estate and the curvature is just right to allow for immersion. It easily replaces a smaller dual monitor setup. Installation was very easy, but as mentioned, mounting to a VESA mount requires a bit more effort as you have to remove the stand (which is a pretty good thing in itself). Overall very happy with the purchase so far, the picture quality is amazing and you just can't get full 4k at this price point.
