I bought this and another device as an experiment to see how well they cut soft meat (spam and corned beef ) cut/cut. The traditional spam slicer was fast and smooth when slicing. This device is more powerful and works almost as well as a traditional slicer. In addition, this device can cut and slice more products. So not as good as a spam slicer. I'm still very happy with the end result.
