This is a vegetable cutter for tomatoes. Ideal for cutting tomatoes. Tomato only, if you want to chop something else buy another one.

not very easy to use. I like the size, but if you're not careful when slicing a tomato, you can cut your fingers on the side without a notch. So both sides are very sharp.

I used a similar cutting machine at a friend's and loved it! Go to Amazon, find this one and order it. Was so excited to use it. Until I used it. The handle was slippery making it very difficult to saw and hold down to cut. I will look for someone else.

Battery egg slicer required; you break. But this one doesn't cut the egg all the way through unless you hold the egg in your hand and push it through. I also hope slicing sweet cucumbers for salads will help. Not sharp enough for that. Might work on mushrooms, I'll have to check.

I bought this and another device as an experiment to see how well they cut soft meat (spam and corned beef ) cut/cut. The traditional spam slicer was fast and smooth when slicing. This device is more powerful and works almost as well as a traditional slicer. In addition, this device can cut and slice more products. So not as good as a spam slicer. I'm still very happy with the end result.
