I have inherited a Wards Heavy Duty "Power Air" compressor that was built in 1978. It's 20 gallons. compressor 2 hp; no model number. You can hear the water splashing in the tank. I tried to open the faucet but the handle broke off. I removed the faucet and drained the tank; There was probably 1/2 gallon of water in it! I bought and installed this extended tank drain. This drain can get in the way when moving the compressor, but is easy to attach to the axle. After installation I was able to remove more moisture so the air is now dry. It's so easy to get to and use that I drain the tank every time I use it.
