The head restraints MUST be adjustable for installation.
The reason I gave it 3 stars was because it doesn't work on the third row headrests on my Sienna. That's actually my fault as I didn't realize the rear headrests weren't adjustable. I am very disappointed as it is a great product strong enough to hold my newf in the middle of the car (middle seats removed). He likes to jump over the 3rd row seat and climb out the back door if the back door is open. The instructions for attaching to the headrest rails seemed simple enough. Would definitely buy again if I had adjustable headrests.
