If you are not sure whether you should "invest" in this set of colored pencils in a wooden box, do not hesitate. It is absolutely worth the price. When you spend more than $200 on pencils, you want them protected from breakage during shipping. I would throw up if I had a crumpled box or broken pencils. Photos do not convey the beauty of the box. The locks are heavy brass. They look shabby in the photos but are sturdy and close securely. All pencils are sharpened equally and glide across the paper like a dream. I'm so glad my mom supported my decision to jump on the presentation box set.
