Calms me down during heavy downpours.
This is an expensive solution for a backup battery system for my drain pump. However, given the cost and complexity of assembling a similar system from separate components, I think it's probably worth the cost. It's quick and easy to install. I was a bit surprised that it works whether the power button is on or not. But it charged the battery and passed all the tests, and now I'm sure my basement won't be flooded in two minutes if the power goes out during a heavy rain.
