Well after more than two months [after purchase] I finally had the opportunity to apply a waterproofing. Here in Oregon we only had two dry days in October. Last night I decided to pull the trigger and give it a try. The day was late, the weather was 60 degrees and it didn't rain until morning. I read the directions and said it needs to be fully dry/cured to be effective. So it was a 50/50 game when the top was dry in weather temperatures, no wind and no sun. I was pleasantly surprised to wake up to thousands of drops of water on a rag! The manufacturer was absolutely right. It should be in a well-ventilated area and away from fire. If excess spray got on the glass, I just wiped it off with a paper towel. The next morning I noticed a faint smell in the car, but it quickly dissipated. Finally, I used the whole bottle on a rag cap. The box said the bottle would cover 75-100 square feet. Feet, so I'm either oversaturated or your calculations are wrong. I blame myself. :) Definitely a good product. Let's see how many car washes it lasts.
