This is an easy way to attach the fuse to the InstantPot without having to solder a new fuse. My InstantPot has an old two-wire cord and I thought it would be a great opportunity to fix the fuse and switch to a ground wire. Since the 3 core wire is slightly larger than the 2 core, the molded rubber grommet was larger. I managed to cut some rubber from the hub and some plastic from the pot to make it work. The company sells both 2 and 3 core cables. So if you want a straight fit then look at what you have unless you want to try what I did. I love the idea of grounding kitchen appliances and I was glad it worked. The quality of the cord is very good, you will be satisfied.
