This is good if you just want to charge your phone. I bought it to connect my phone to my car. Unfortunately, this is not a data charging cable. So when I tried to connect my Android to the device, it couldn't read it. I didn't know it was a thing. I did a little research and found that Android Auto isn't working for this reason. After replacing this cable with a data charging cable, my phone worked great in my car. Car dealers will say if you use Android make sure you use the cable that came with your phone, but all you need is a cable. that can transmit data. For me, I have a Motorola data charging cable that is three and a half feet long, but I want them to make a 12 inch cable specifically for use in your vehicle. If you use it to charge your phone or other electronic devices, everything is fine. . Seems well done. It was my fault for not realizing I needed a data/charge cable. The company sold me exactly what they said they would. And if I needed them I would keep them but I just didn't need them so I returned them.
