If you want stainless steel and black and still see if it's salt or pepper, go for it!
Love these they look great in my kitchen they are durable. There are enough holes and they are ideally placed to properly distribute salt and ground pepper. The glass on the bottom is nice so you can easily see what you're taking (no P or S labels but they aren't needed if you can see well). The only downside is that they tend to pick up fingerprints and as with all pepper shakers, pepper dust gets on the top and needs to be wiped off from time to time.
