later My son wears size 3 baby shoes with little room to grow (toe rubs on end of size 2). So I ordered a size 3M which should be 8.5 inches long which gives it some room like his other shoes. The box says 3M, the inside of the shoe says 3M, but the length of the shoe is 9.5 inches, which according to the size chart is the size of 6M children's shoes. These shoes are MUCH, MUCH larger than his other 3 sizes. The shoes look good quality and are reasonably priced so we're keeping them hoping he can wear them next year. But it frustrates me that I now have to order another pair and hope the size is right when it arrives. I'll try, ordering a size down but I feel like it. a guessing game because the size was completely wrong. If the sizing wasn't so deceptive I would have given it more stars because otherwise it's a good shoe. I don't know if the sizing was printed incorrectly or if there was an error in the manufacturing process, but this 3M kids shoe is NOT a 3M sizing.
