Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good, but not as good as I expected based on the rating.

I've spent many hours searching, researching, comparing and reading reviews looking for a set of headlights with the best light output and the best light output because I love people with bad Hate headlights especially LED and HID, they shine bright, the lights hit me in the face as I try not to drive the car into a ditch, deer, moose or oncoming lane. My F350 work truck had original plastic cases which I replaced a year ago and then brushed off the pressure bar. The assemblies and bezels are from another similar truck so I was able to get some nice 5x7 LED headlights. I love how they match the glossy black on white truck theme so it's nice. And for the most part I'm satisfied, although I expected more. Maybe I didn't align them correctly, maybe they should overlap 100%, but I'm not sure if the adjustments will do that, or maybe the truck will squint. Currently they are oriented so that when I would shine at the wall, the main part of the high beam would be close by. Each ray has a sort of central vertical pillar of light. As you can see from the photos the light is not very even and consistent. There are bright spots and dull spots. And depending on the distance to the next lane, the edges of the emoji can really shine in the eyes when overtaking. There is a big bright spot in front, but behind it is a dead spot, so to speak. The edges shine on every embankment you traverse, so a good view of the ditch, but I would have liked a clearer view from the front. The border isn't as good as I thought it would be either. It's not nice and hard. The distant light lacks enthusiasm. It does its job, but in certain situations it doesn't do much. I had no problems with crashes, plug and play (using the adapter that comes with the pressure beam version of the truck stolen from another truck). ). The low beam stays on with the high beam. No moisture problems. I ended up making a lot of purchases within a few months, literally for a couple of days. I was hoping for the best, my main car is a Nissan LEAF with LED headlights which are excellent (and electronically adjustable) and not nearly as good. They'll work, they're better than stocks, but I'd rather have something that does the job I want.
